These problems are even more acute in kindergartens or schools, since children don’t act rationally yet. In the case of integrative kindergartens, some children may also have physical or mental disabilities. Children are unable to act accordingly in the event of an emergency, i.e. they’re unable get themselves or other people in need of help to safety without guidance of their teachers.
This is partly due to the fact that they are not yet able to identify sources of danger, such as open flames, as actual dangers. In addition to that, they are often unfamiliar with escape routes and the accompanying signage. Here we can inform children in advance about fire protection safety, emergency routes and location of collection points valid for their kindergartens/schools. Children can learn about our product ViRAss at any time via digital picture frames, smartphones or tablets. These moving images stay in the children’s minds.
We have created the virtual rescue route assistant ViRAss, which is tailored to your needs and the needs of your kindergarten children. ViRAss enables staff in kindergartens and schools to teach about correct behavior in the event of a fire or emergency in the shortest and most effective way.
The escape and rescue route is shown to children at any time in a virtual-reality format (using real images) on end devices such as smartphones or digital picture frames. At the same time, the nearest fire protection facilities for first responders are shown and the rescue chain is explained. Thus, every educator and every child is always well informed about his or her unfamiliar surroundings and will – by adoption of safe and sensible behaviors – become an efficient member of the existing fire protection concept.
